In an effort to engage all learners at Austin Elementary, we are adopting the Schoolwide Enrichment Model (SEM) created by Dr. Joseph Renzulli. Along with our principal, there are several staff members who will be attending Confratute at the University of Connecticut in July to learn more about SEM and how to integrate Renzulli Learning into daily life within the classroom.
This blog will follow the journey into developing our teachers into facilitators, and into developing the giftedness of all our learners, regardless of academic label.
